Where did the name DJ JERK come from?

It all started back when I was getting started as a DJ… Some of my first gigs were for my wife’s office Christmas parties. My wife and a colleague were travelling together one day when she decided to call me using the Bluetooth integrated into her SUV to call me. My contact info was under “Jer”, but when the Bluetooth system repeated it back it sounded like “Jerk”. At the next event, and ever since, I was called “DJ JERK”. When I became serious about DJ-ing I needed a name, but who could shake the name “DJ JERK”

What kind of music do you play?

DJ JERK plays what the crowd wants to hear within what the event organizer wants the tone of the event to be. Every event has its own flavour that the organizer wants to project, and using that, and reading the crowd’s reaction to what is being played, DJ JERK is able to maintain the ambiance while satisfying the particular needs of the people in attendance. He has a large repertoire of Pop, Rock and Country Music to choose from as well as a variety of Hip-hop, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Punk, Alternative and EDM tracks that will entertain any crowd no matter how diverse.

When are you available?

DJ JERK is available for booking  on evenings starting at 6pm and week-ends all day. Simply consult his google Calendar to be sure that he's not already booked for the date of your event, then complete the “Request a Quote” form to get the ball rolling.

What areas do you serve?

DJ JERK serves Granby, Cowansville, Magog, Sherbrooke, and everywhere in between! If you have an event outside of this area, DJ JERK is flexible… Contact me, and we’ll see if we can make it happen.
